In 2001 BayArea womens wear designer Erica Varize; started EVarize with a desire to make beautiful locally made clothes right off the rack. In 2005 the Varize family opened the award winning "EVarize Fashion Cafe" the Bay Areas First Cut & Sew boutique. The EVarize collection has sold exclusively at 15boutiques in the US. EVarize has also participated in a host of fashion shows, her work has earned awards for Best womens wear designer, Best womens clothing store, Best Summer camp and for her philanthropic efforts ,"Entrepreneur of the year". Since 2008 Erica has curated and taught EVarize "Sew What Sewing Camp" in the BayArea and also Uganda, East Africa.
The family's continuos philanthropic work in Uganda is what Erica likes to call "our life's work". We have been so blessed with what we have it is our time to give back and use our gifts for greatness.
EVarize is currently building a new collection that is set to release this Summer, collaborating with son Darius Varize as the creative director 2017.
